Alcohol has much different characteristics than regular gas. It burns cleaner, faster and cooler. It is also more expensive than regular gas and you must use an alcohol carb. After you get done running alcohol you must "purge" the fuel out of your motor and carb by clamping off your fuel tank like and removing it from the carb, then you must hook up some sort of device to run normal fuel through it to clean out the carb. If you let alcohol sit in your carb it will gum it up and you will need to rebuild or replace the carb. DO NOT LET YOUR MOTOR SIT OVER NIGHT WITH ALCOHOL IN THE CARB. |
